Vic follows Vic Diamente—a non-binary, queer artist—through their creative process, tracing a journey of self-discovery, transformation, and spirit across multiple personas held within one body. Drawing inspiration from Sophie Calle’s investigative and intimate approach, the project invites viewers to slow down and witness Vic’s world: a space where creation, humor, and vulnerability coexist. Through a series of tender, documentary-style photographs, the work captures a day in the life of Vic—off-stage, in process. It offers a glimpse into the quiet, complex transitions an artist navigates while shaping a performance: the layered identities, the internal rehearsals, the soft rituals before the spotlight. Vic is both a portrait and a process—an exploration of what it means to create, to perform, and to live as a queer artist in the world today.
